Ratings are back up again over 7m!

Ratings slide again to a new low helped no doubt by the Bank Holiday. The share is up slightly though. The film on ITV gets much the same figures as the previous week.

The season's official scariest episode airs, thanks to the Eurovision Song Contest, somewhat earlier at 6:30, when it is bright and non-scary outside. This helps bring the figures down to their lowest yet - beaten also by the FA Cup Final on that afternoon's Match of the Day. The share however is still at a reasonable 35% or so, which is better than some of the earlier episodes.

ITV put Celibiity Wrestling out of its misery this week and start a mini-season of films instead. Rumoured to be a showing of all the Star Wars films (that they have rights to) - it's only Episode 1 in fact. Still it does much better than the wrestling and gets into the Top 30.

This time the number of Who viewers is around the same but the viewing share has gone up significantly. However the Celebrity Wrestling viewing figures have dropped again - and its share is the same as before. I guess this results from the fact that the two programmes only partially overlap - they don't completely coincide. As I understand it the figures are calculated for each 15 minute block - and then averaged over the duration of each programme. So it looks like the total viewing audience post-7pm has dropped more since last week than the pre-7pm audience.

Who ratings slip a little after the Dalek episode to just above where they were previously. Wrestling on the other hand just continues shedding viewers.
