Atlanta - Day 3
Finally some real work, today. i.e. sitting round making helpful suggestions whilst someone else tries to get your code running. We;'e getting there, but tomorrow we should be where we expected to be on Monday.
So onto tonight's dinner experience. To be honest I think there's a market for a chain of restaurants that promotes itself with small portions, slow service and indifferent waiting staff. In other words an English restaurant I guess.
Tonight I walked down the road past TGI Fridays and discovered loads more restaurants available without risking life and limb crossing the dangerous road. So I chose the Macaroni Grill - I'm not sure they actually serve macaroni, although they do grilled food. Their thing is that the waitress draws in crayon on the (paper) tablecloth when she starts to serve (I assume she's "tagging" your table). Also the complimentary bread is a herby foccacia type bread with olive oil and pepper to dip in (and optional parmesan). The range is OK, they had a build your own pasta meal which I didn't try as I had the mushroom ravioli for a starter. Of course by the time I'd had bread and starter I didn't really want a main course.
Which is where we came in.
